Motor gasolines may contain up to 10% by volume of a biocomponent in the form of ethanol, while diesel fuels may contain up to 7% by volume of a component in the form of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME).

The main factors influencing SPOT prices are quotations of petroleum products and biocomponents on European markets, the US Dollar and Euro exchange rates published by the National Bank of Poland (NBP), taxes and other public levies as well as the current supply and demand situation on the domestic fuel market.
